Tanjungpinang (Memorilive.com) – Head of Branch IV of the Jalasenastri Region I Fleet (Korcab IV DJA I) Ny. Indarto Budiarto together with the Korcab IV DJA I Management, conducted a social visit in order to provide Vitamin A intake to toddlers at the Sekar Melati Posyandu, TNI Laut Komplek Jl. Imam Bonjol West Tanjungpinang Riau Islands, Monday (10/8/2020)
This activity is a routine activity of giving vitamin A to toddlers, sons and daughters of Soldiers and Pns of the Navy Main Base (Lantamal) IV Tanjungpinang in collaboration with the Pancur Tanjungpinang Community Health Center.
On the guidelines of the activity, the Chairman of Korcab IV DJA I said “The provision of free vitamin A intake to the families of the Indonesian Navy is carried out regularly, namely 2 (two) times a year or once every 6 months”, he said.
He added, the purpose of giving these vitamins is to maintain the nutrition of toddlers to stay healthy and strong, as well as other health services in the form of weighing children under five which are carried out every month, he added.
Hopefully this activity can help in easing the burden on residents around the complex to meet vitamin intake and monitoring children’s nutrition, he concluded.
